Music has always been a great love of mine. I identify themes in my life by songs—every act, every feeling, every memorable moment was accompanied by a song. When I write, I always do it with music. I create playlists to go along with every novel. It’s an integral part of my creative process.

One of my favorite songs by one of my all-time favorite artists. What is your favorite “A” song?
I don't think I've ever heard this song. But it's so smooth. Prince is just too pretty. Looking forward to the rest of the alphabet.
